Trainees seeking a Hazardous Materials (H) endorsement to operate CMVs used in the transportation of hazardous materials as defined in § 383.5. Trainees seeking an H endorsement, must complete this curriculum in order to take the State administered knowledge test for the H endorsement. This training course will serve as an orientation for the theory portion of the ELDT program. Here, we will introduce you to the commercial motor vehicle driver training curriculum as well as the basics of being a professional driver. Everything is done online, at your own pace. You must watch a “Hazardous Materials Theory” knowledge video and pass a corresponding test with 80% or higher. You are able to take the test as many times as you need at no additional charge. You will have to option to print your ELDT Hazmat Certificate for your personal records. Upon completion, one of our ELDT Training Providers will quickly submit your results and certification to the Training Provider Registry (TPR).
